Privacy policy

Plain language: what this site collects, why, and what we don't do. Last updated October 2026.

What we collect

This site collects only what you type into its forms, plus what's needed to run your account if you create one:

  • Waitlist and free-edition sign-ups: your email address, and optionally the edition or region you're interested in, the states you cover, and what kind of vendor you are.
  • Contact and Enterprise quote requests: your name, work email, company, states of interest, and your message.
  • Plan reservations: your email, the plan you chose, your state or region, and optionally your company.
  • Accounts: your email address and name, the organizations you create or join and your role in them, team invites you send, your watchlist, and when you last signed in. Signing in sets one session cookie that keeps you signed in for up to 30 days; signing out clears it. If you arrive through a colleague's referral link, a cookie records that referral so it can be credited when you create an account.

We use this information to respond to you, to run our waitlists and accounts, and to send the editions, sign-in links and launch notices you asked for. Every launch or newsletter email includes a way to unsubscribe.

Subscriptions and payments

Newsletters are delivered through our email platform. Paid subscriptions are handled by our email platform's checkout and our payment processor; this site never sees or stores your card details. Those providers process your information under their own privacy policies.

Analytics

We may use privacy-focused, cookieless analytics that count page views in aggregate. It does not build a profile of you or track you across other sites. This site does not set advertising or tracking cookies.

What we don't do

  • We don't sell, rent or trade your personal information.
  • We don't use your information for advertising.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from any email at any time using the link in that email. To ask us to access, correct or delete what you've submitted or your account, contact us.

About the data in our editions

Our editions report on facilities and organizations, using public data from CMS, state agencies, the U.S. Census Bureau, the Bureau of Labor Statistics and FDA. They do not contain patient information.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date above.
